When it's cold, but really cold (I'm not going to go down to -25 degrees below zero, that's pretty extreme stuff), the best thing to do is to seek advice from people who live in Siberia, northern Canada or very extreme areas.

One of the recommendations, in fact, that we are given when it is extremely cold, is to wear furs, including a sizeable weight. And this is really what I'm going to extrapolate a little bit, not exactly to the fact of the furs, but yes, I'm going to extrapolate a little bit. to the context of the cold in Spain, which ranges from 0 to 5 degrees Celsius.

It's about this cold weather that I'm going to talk about in this post and I'm going to do it from a formal and informal point of view. Don't think that I'm only going to talk about wearing hats and super long coats, but about 5 basic garments you need this winter.

And something that is very important is that these clothes are going to get you out of trouble, too, will probably work for you in 5, 6 or even 10 years.

  • A basic coat

The first garment is a basic coat. Whether it is a plain or sober model, it will be very useful because it is timeless and you can wear it with different combinations. The new collection is available in a variety of colours, with light or dark things, with a jumper, with a scarf and with a lot of other garments and accessories.

My recommendation is that it should be very basic or whatever is in fashion during the season. Although, as I said, the coat is a garment that will always be almost obligatory during the winter.regardless of their different versions and styles.

  • A pair of boots

Yes, a good pair of boots will get you out of any trouble because it helps you to keep your feet from getting cold, which is very important during very cold weather. And secondly, it's what will add a modern touch to a good combination.

There are times when we wear these coats and use tennis shoes. I'm not saying it's wrong, I even think it can work, but when you combine it with a good pair of boots, it's a different matter because the attire takes on a more contemporary and pleasing style in sight. So the boot is a basic winter footwear item.

  • Scarf

The third item is an accessory. I'm talking about the scarf, an addition to any outfit that can not only serve you very well, but can also be in Spain, but in other European countries where the cold is more intense or milder.

Regarding other accessories, I don't only recommend you to use a scarf, but also a hat, even gloves. These are accessories that work well to completely change the code and the weather.

Imagine wearing jeans or a pair of jeans, but put the scarf on top. Believe me, you'll get your winter looks right.

  • Suit or blazer?

Some people wonder whether it's better to wear a suit or a blazer in winter, and the truth is that either recommendation can be very useful. In fact, are good options if you dress in formal codes.

If you prefer to wear a formal look, you can wear a suit that is thick and completely made of wool. This garment will make you look great at any winter event and does not require the addition of an extra garment.

In case you are not a formal wearer, I would say wear a normal suit and top it with a trench coat or a coat (it could be long). Or opt for a blazer. It will look great on you.

  • Jersey

An infallible garment in winter that I love is the jumper or the typical knitted jumper. Are you wondering why? Well look, it can help you a lot, because in some way it can will elevate your winter outfit.

You can pair a jumper with sneakers, Chelsea boots, loafers or boots and you're good to go. Pairing this garment with these accessories will get you out of trouble and make you look amazing.

  • A hooded sweatshirt

Just as you read it. A hoodie will be useful if you dress in a more casual or casual style: you can wear it whenever you want in winter, but you can also wear it in winter if you want to wear a hooded sweatshirt. the condition is that it is a zippered model because it offers greater versatility by being able to open or close it.

This is a type of garment that I love because it allows you to wear a more urban and casual style. Some people say to me: "I hate winter because I have to dress up as someone I'm not".

So I say: "You have to dress up, well, you have to wear clothes that are for the cold and you don't really enjoy it because you feel weird". And if that's your case and you don't want to feel that way, you can wear a hoodie.
